Team YL is a group of cyclists committed to fund-raising for their local community and riding 100 miles in a day each summer. Every year we travel to a beautiful location somewhere in the mountains of the United States. This Year, we are training for the 12th Annual Buena Vista Bike Fest in Buena Vista, Colorado.
We are looking for corporate sponsors to help offset the cost of the ride, so that the pledges the riders raise will go directly to the ministry of Young Life in your metro area. A cycling club committed to supporting the efforts of Young Life in your city! Each rider is committing to individually raise at least $1000 in pledges. Young Life is a high school and middle school ministry that has been active in for over 60 years. Our staff and leaders meet kids on their turf, to build relationships and show them how much Jesus Christ cares for them. Young Life is a non-profit organization funded by businesses and individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of kids in their own communities.
Your tax deductible sponsorship will provide the opportunity our riders to be treated like a professional race team. Although most of our team don’t possess the cycling skills of a pro, we believe their efforts for kids in the community earns them as much, if not more respect than any pro cyclist deserves. Your gift will also give your company’s logo a place on our training and finisher shirts that are worn around the community as well as around the country.
By sponsoring Team YL, you and your organization genuinely become a part of our team. You have the unique chance to personally encourage and reward our riders through an intense training period from January to May. Most charitable sponsorships only offer advertisement for your company at a one-time event. Team YL provides positive publicity for your organization around town not only for our 5 months of training but the entire year. Our team forms relationships that they carry with them for the rest of their lives.
